A very long time ago, I had a super-nerdy Japanese translation blog where I posed all the stuff I translated. It wasn’t awesome, but it was a fun little project. Eventually I fell out of the habit and closed the blog down.
But there were some fun things on there. So I’m bringing ’em back!
I love baking, I love sweets, and I love making new things! I also can still read a good amount of Japanese. (Everything is possible with electronic dictionaries, after all.) So I occasionally raid Cookpad.com for recipes to translate.

Before You Begin
If you’ve never used a recipe that measured everything in grams and CCs, you’ll probably want to learn how to use a cooking scale.
I have a bias toward desserts. I know, I know. What’s the point of translating if you just translate recipes you can get in America? The answer is, of course, that I love desserts, so I don’t really care that I’m wasting my talent. Sorry!
